About Kendra

My approach to therapy is an active, engaged partnership specifically tailored to your unique needs. My greatest passion is strengthening relationships, because the quality of your relationships is the #1 predictor of your health and happiness. While couples work is central to my practice, I also help individuals navigate life stressors, self-doubt, and complex family dynamics. The reality is that these areas are deeply connected. When you work through internal struggles, you are better equipped to show up in your relationships and when your connections are strong, every other aspect of your life gets easier. Together, we will use this dynamic to help you build stronger relationships and operate at your best.

To maximize results, I have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—an evidence-based couples therapy approach designed to help partners understand negative cycles and build a more secure, resilient connection. This specialized work builds on my clinical foundation, which includes a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University.

Alongside my clinical education, I bring real-world experience into the room. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University. This background gives me a unique understanding of workplace dynamics, executive stress, and the heavy demands many of my clients navigate daily. Beyond the professional sphere, having been married for nearly 30 years and navigated the seasons of raising four children, I deeply understand the resilience and dedication required to build a lasting family foundation. My many years spent volunteering with youth have only deepened that perspective, giving me hands-on experience with the pressures young people and families face today. It is this combination of clinical expertise and lived experience that makes our work together highly effective.
